Stoud Jordan Award 2007 Nominations
This award is presented by the AACT in honor of the late Dr. Stroud Jordan, a pioneer candy technologist, to recognize outstanding contributions to the field of confectionery technology. To be eligible for this award the candidate's contributions can be in the areas of education, organization, or research but must have been performed as a service to the industry as a whole. Achievements made solely to enhance the nominee's business or that of an employer are not considered eligible.
The award is based entirely on the merits of the individual's accomplishments. In revewing the nominations no weight will be given to the number of nominations received for a particular candidate.
Please complete the Nomination Form (PDF download) with as much information as possible. Feel free to attach any documentation you may wish in support of your nomination. The committee will be evaluating the relative merits of all the candidates based on the information contained in the form as well as any attachments you provide.
